Della Robbia studio was founded by Luca della Robbia, the inventor of a method of tin-glazed terracotta sculptures. A new art and very a beautiful one. He is said, among other great artists, to be the precursor of the Renaissance. The Della Robbia Studio continued by his nephew, Andrea, and Andrea’s siblings and children.
